Works in Progress
It may be a bit premature to put up a project list, but since I have a history of putting the cart before the horse it’s exactly what I’m going to do.
Over the course of the last few years I’ve initiated, plotted, outlined or just simply let the stories tumble around in my head, the following is a short list ordered in priority to me.
Terminal
Jake Norman’s life is falling apart.
After loosing his wife in a horrible car crash and walking away unharmed, Jake is racked with guilt and loss. It’s affecting his sleep, his job, and his relationship with his eleven year old son, Jeremy, who is the only thing in his life that still seems to shine. So for Jeremy, he struggles to make things better. To make them right.
Then they kidnap his son.
Lucky Me
Lincoln Beck had a gift for reading people, picking up signs from their mannerisms, posture and speech. He was so good people thought he could see the future or read their minds. Lincoln also seem impossibly lucky climbing up the entertainment food chain until he was daytime’s top dog on the reality show, “Beck.”
Things were good until Beck’s pretty assistant was murdered, and all signs pointed to Beck.
The Clockwork Princess
Amelia Addams, orphaned and living with her Aunt Caroline, seems to be adapting well since the death of her father, Raymond, whose plane crashed into Rockies to never be found. Adapting until she discovered a mirror in the attic.
The Clockwork Princess is a YA novel I’ve been plotting some time. Meshing mystery with steampunk.
Dimes for Dying
A supernatural noir send up featuring Charlie Novak, a cop who walks in two worlds: the living and the dead.
Unearthed
Forensic Anthropologist and news celebrity discovers a mass grave site containing a 400 year old zombie. Once unearthed, he must save the world and more importantly his teenage daughter from a possible zombie pandemic.
A horror thriller I started for the 2009 NaNoWriMo.
